**Overview** Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to its growing Vascular Surgery Department in Carmichael, CA. This outpatient-focused position will see both venous and arterial patients and be responsible for H&P's, pre/post-surgical assessments, acute medical visits, patient education and follow-up, and responding to patient questions on a variety of medical issues. Accredited vascular lab on site. This opportunity is full-time with no call requirement. Because of its central location, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, the vineyards of Napa Valley, and the historical Gold Rush towns of the foothills are all within easy driving distance. **Responsibilities** **Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:** + Conduct comprehensive health assessments. + Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. + Order and interpret diagnostic tests. **Treatment Planning and Management:** + Develop and implement patient care plans. + Prescribe medications and therapies. + Provide health promotion and disease prevention education. **Collaboration and Consultation:** + Collaborate with other healthcare professionals. + Consult with physicians and specialists as needed. + Coordinate patient care across various settings. **Qualifications** + Minimum of 1-year post-training experience in an NP role + Experience in Vascular, Cardiology, or Cardiac Surgery is highly desirable + A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California + Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare) **Pay Range** $64.00 - $86.00 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
