As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our team, collaborating closely to enhance our underwriting processes and optimize performance strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough portfolio quality reviews in Commercial Niches and Programs, meticulously ensuring compliance with policy issuance accuracy and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare comprehensive executive summaries and reports for underwriting management, delivering impactful presentations to senior leaders.
- Partner with management to identify areas of improvement in process efficiency, operations, and employee performance, and propose tailored training solutions to address these gaps.
- Foster collaboration across various business areas to integrate relevant topics into our comprehensive training curriculum.
- Offer expert guidance to underwriters on procedural queries, unique scenarios, risk selection, and underwriting guidelines.
- Contribute valuable insights to enhance the training curriculum, focusing on new procedures, risk selection, pricing strategies, and marketplace intelligence.
- Actively participate in commercial underwriting initiatives, leveraging your expertise as a subject matter expert in Quality Assurance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Five (5) years of commercial underwriting experience, or strong technical expertise in an underwriting role.
- Two (2) years of experience as a UW Quality Assurance Associate, or equivalent strong technical background in an auditing role.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Prior underwriting experience in Non-Profit Human Services and/or Programs is highly desirable.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary ranging from $78,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience, plus bonus eligibility.
- For candidates in CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, and PA, salary ranges from $85,800 to $143,000, commensurate with experience, plus bonus eligibility.
