Job Description

Summary

This job is designated to provide families transportation support to allow their children to attend child care. Services offered are to pick up and drop off children, transporting children to field trips or bringing supplies to other location; at locations agreed upon by the caregivers and transportation manager. Must be 25 years or older. Transportation Driver will have an assistant accompany them on their route. The route will be consistent daily. This job is available for part time or full time Monday through Friday.

Duties

• Communicate drop off and pick up times and locations with care givers
• Create and keep updated log of pick up and drop off times
• Submit attendance biweekly to Umbrella for reimbursement for applicable children
• Create and distribute invoices to care givers who pay out of pocket
• Deliver paperwork to care givers provided by child care (newsletters, accident reports, etc.)
• Communicate any delays or closing with parents
• Ensure proper staffing to keep vehicle in licensing regulations at all times
• Ensure all children have appropriate child restraint seats
• Communicate any issues/vehicle concerns with owner immediately

Requirements

• Must be 25 years or older and have a clean driving record, the ability to pass a background and fingerprint check, and willing to complete required trainings.
• Complete Child Passenger safety training
• Have current 1st aid/CPR certification
• Have a current license
• Must pass a drug test
