You will provide leadershipand oversight for Health Safety Environment (HSE), activities and performancefor the Clover, SC facility by establishing strong working relationships withsite leadership team and employees. You will report directly to the Sr.Director of HSE. You will be a key leader with the Clover leadership team directingsustainable health and safety programs through incorporation of impactfuloperating processes and keeping in front of leading practices in health andsafety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Implements HSE and Sustainability standards
- Provide technical assistance
- Site compliance reviews
- Strong MOS (Management Operating System) administration
- Advocates HOS (Honeywell Operating System) behaviors
- Effective coach and role model
- Deploys safety initiatives
- Track, Trend and Measure key HSE metrics
- Drives standard work
- Ensures compliance standards
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE - 6+ years of HSE Experience
WE VALUE - Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, safety, environmental science, facilities, or related field.
- Process Safety Management (PSM) experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Use innovative thinking to create continuous improvement
- Record of progressive HSE experience
- Working knowledge of basic computer skills
- Significant experience in HSE field
- Experience in successfully leading a team
- Lean/six sigma experience
