Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

Location: Remote

6 Months contract

Hours: Mon-Fri, from 8AM 5PM EST

No H1B

Role Overview: As a Senior Test Engineer, you will lead test automation efforts, leveraging backend systems and AI-driven testing methodologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, intelligent testing frameworks, using generative AI for test case generation, predictive test selection, and failure analysis to ensure system reliability, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities: Test Automation & AI Integration: Lead the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks using Python and AI-driven technologies. Design generative AI solutions for test case automation, smart test selection, and failure diagnosis. Develop machine learning models for test failure prediction, prioritization, and optimization. Backend System Testing: Perform backend testing for APIs, databases, and services, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. Collaborate with backend engineers to create effective test plans and ensure systems meet product requirements. Implement performance and load testing using AI tools. Data Science for Test Optimization: Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze test data, improving efficiency. Use data analytics to predict defects and improve software quality, leveraging data visualization tools to communicate results. Test Result Analysis & Reporting: Use AI and NLP to analyze logs, error messages, and test results. Build predictive models for test failures and automate report generation, providing actionable insights and root cause analysis. AI-Driven Test Data Generation: Use generative AI models to create synthetic test data for complex scenarios, ensuring coverage of edge cases and potential failure points. Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with development, data science, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Mentor junior engineers and drive the adoption of AI-powered testing tools across the organization. Required Skills & Experience: Experience: 8+ years in software testing, with 5+ years in test automation and backend testing. Expertise in Python and automation scripting. Strong background in backend technologies (e.g., REST APIs, databases, microservices). Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Experience using generative AI models (e.g., GPT, T5) for testing. Technical Skills: Proficiency with test automation tools (e.g., pytest). Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, Gatling). Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI). Strong database knowledge (SQL, NoSQL) for backend testing. Data Science & Analytics: Strong statistical analysis skills and ability to derive insights from large datasets. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Leadership qualities to mentor junior engineers. Passion for learning and staying updated on trends in testing, AI, and backend technologies. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors /Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. Experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Healthcare background (optional). Knowledge of advanced ML techniques and NLP for automated defect analysis.
