Role: R&D Engineer

Location: Minnetonka, MN

Duration: 12 Months

Shift Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Support product development by performing clinical-systems and human factors engineering tasks.
• Investigate, define, analyze, document, and test activities related to specific projects.
• Determine requirements and constraints for assigned portions of the system.
• Apply theoretical principles, creative/analytical techniques, and technical judgment to resolve issues.
• Evaluate and solve technical problems using engineering and scientific principles.
• Organize, plan, and coordinate clinical-systems engineering assignments effectively.
• Use cost-efficient and best practices to execute processes and deliver results.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Project Management : Strong project management skills to track deadlines and coordinate tasks across teams and suppliers.
• Supplier Qualification : Experience in qualifying suppliers, particularly for catheter components, is essential.
• Technical Expertise : A background in engineering, especially related to biomedical devices or catheter components.
• Collaboration : Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D engineers, supplier quality teams, customer engineers, etc.
• Quality Systems : Experience with Quality Management systems (e.g., Windchill) is preferred.
• Experience : 2-3 years of relevant experience in project engineering, particularly in the medical device industry (catheter experience is a plus).
• Education : A Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Biomedical Engineering preferred, but other engineering degrees are also acceptable).
• Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Interview Process:

1. Phone Screening : Initial interview to assess basic qualifications.
2. In-person Panel Interview : For shortlisted candidates, the interview will be conducted onsite.
