Job Description

154 Gym is a holistic sports performance training program and facility for 

athletes and individuals aspiring to enhance their lifestyles with higher functionality or 

aesthetics. The evolving program features on-site personal training, classes, workshops, 

retreats and residencies led by athletes and leading coaches in group or private settings. 

Classes range from functional training, boxing, sound healing to active yoga and more. The 

program is both mindful in its approach to sports performance based on scientific and 

holistic learning. 

The ideal candidate will quickly be able to adapt to the brand, values, and culture of the company, evoking passion and excitement for the process in all involved while providing an upbeat and positive client and team experience. Because we are a small team, we all wear many hats and are happy to roll up our sleeves and lend a hand whenever needed. The responsibilities and duties described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is 

not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned: 

• Coach one on one personal training sessions 

• Instruct group fitness classes 

• Execute floor training responsibilities including gym tours, assist with equipment 

usage by guests or members, practice health and safety methods in and around the 

gym, keep equipment and all gym spaces clean, assist in all class set ups and check 

ins and complete the opening/closing duties 

• Provide the highest level of customer service to all members and guests 

• Take pride in your work, always strive to succeed and be a great teammate 

 

Requirements

Requirements:

• Level 3 Personal Trainer 

• Highly desirable bachelor's or advanced degrees with majors in Exercise Science or a 

related field such as Kinesiology, Biomechanics, or Anatomy and Physiology. 

• Candidates must have at least 3 years of personal training experience 

• Candidates must be self-sufficient, motivated, and customer service focused
