Job Summary/Objective

Provides night warehouse operational support; duties include dispatching drivers, sorting and processing deliveries and returns, managing operational flow, and overseeing a team of drivers. Administrative duties include data management, filing, record keeping, and compiling nightly reports. In addition, light warehouse maintenance and housekeeping tasks may include, restocking supplies, changing light bulbs and keeping the warehouse clear of clutter.

Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)

1. Ensures nighttime operational flow of warehouses in all TX markets
2. Oversees loading, unloading and sorting operations
3. Researches unlabeled pieces for return or delivery
4. Processes returns for digital tracking
5. Provides dispatch management: data entry, route structuring, mapping, etc.
6. Provides record keeping and filing
7. Maintains current driver information and files, including background checks, new driver paperwork, termination documents, etc.
8. Provides route and driver reports
9. Provides warehouse sorting and scanning app/technical support

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience, Skills and Key Competencies

A minimum of 2-years of warehouse management experience with a proven record of coaching and teambuilding with the following service-oriented acumen:

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or concerns swiftly and professionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with a high degree of independence.
• Maintain professional communication skills/relations with the logistics team.

  Special Position Requirements

• Able to pass a background check
• Able to work in a warehouse environment
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Light travel to provide support in other markets
• Able to read maps and directions
• Detail oriented - ability to manage projects and processes.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and adapt
