JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Materials Science and Engineering in the College of Earth and Mineral Science at the Pennsylvanian State University is accepting applications for a researcher position. The person will perform independent research activities on developing machine learning models based on deep neural networks and applying the models to various applications through collaborations with others. a PhD degree in materials science and engineering with data management and computer-based data analysis skills is required. The ability to work independently and in a team is essential. Strong communication skills are also required to support collaborative work.
