Job Title: Marketing & Trade Show Coordinator

Department: Marketing

 

Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing and Tradeshow Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns and tradeshow events. This role requires excellent organizational skills, communication skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This person will have the opportunity to help boost our brand across the globe and be part of an innovative team that is making a massive impact on the organization. 

 

Responsibilities: As the Marketing & Trade Show Coordinator you will:

  • Plan, organize, and execute all aspects of tradeshows, exhibitions, and events.
  • Coordinate logistics including registration, booth selection, booth setup and shipping.
  • Work with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Develop and manage event schedules, agendas, and timelines.
  • Ensure brand consistency and high-quality representation at all events.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from events to improve future performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional items.
  • Maintain and update the company’s website and social media platforms.
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns.
  • Support the sales team with lead generation and follow-up activities.
  • Track and report on marketing metrics and campaign performance.
  • Maintain organized records of all marketing and event activities as well as the budget.
  • Handle inquiries and communications related to marketing and tradeshows.
  • Manage requests from the sales team ranging from promotional materials to shipping demo units.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing reports and presentations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


You’re a great fit for this position if this describes you;

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field. 
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in marketing or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in coordinating tradeshows.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Detail oriented with strong project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Superior presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms such as social media, HubSpot, Salesforce and WordPress.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not necessary.
  • Industry knowledge of Mass Transit, First Responder, Military, Rail and Locomotive and Fire Suppression Industries is a plus but not necessary.
  • Capable of handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced, team environment, with time constrains.
  • Safety is at the forefront of your mind when you are working, and you follow all policies to promote a safe working environment at United Safety.

  • Understanding that you are part of a growing company, you have no concerns with and are able to work extended hours/over-time as needed as well as some Saturdays to support that growth.
