Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Electricians for projects located in and around San Diego, CA . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $28/hour based on experience plus $150/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Install, Repair, and Hook up Equipment for all Electrical Services on Ship
Layout, Pull Lifts Out, and Install Cable and Conduit
Prepare Work Area
Drill Holes and Grind Metal Surfaces
Weld Mounting Equipment
Test Electrical Equipment
Perform other Related Tasks as Assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 Years of Marine Electrical Experience and/or 4+ Years of Electrical Experience
Pass NASSCO Assessment or be in a Training Program
Able to Read Composite Blueprints, Computer Printouts and Navy Standards Manuals, Comprehend Written and Verbal Instructions and Hear Warning Signals
Ability to Work at Height and in Confined Spaces
Able to Work any Shift
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Able to Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
OSHA 10 Maritime and Firewatch Certificate Prior to Starting (TI does offer OSHA course to qualified candidates)
