This position offers the exciting opportunity to shape and expand our computer science curriculum for students in 9th through 12th grades in a student-centered, project-based learning environment, where students can deepen their knowledge in coding, technology, and engineering utilizing a newly updated Maker Space.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students build strong skills in computational thinking, programming languages, and design technology within a learning environment that emphasizes critical thinking, independence, and creativity. They will play a key role in expanding our offerings to create a well-rounded and robust sequence of computer science courses for students who are eager to explore technology and coding at all levels.
Candidates with experience teaching engineering, robotics, or supervising a maker space are strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, Master’s or PhD preferred
Master’s degree in Education preferred
Experience teaching computer science at a high school or university level

The full-time equivalent salary range is $65,000 - $95,000, depending on years of experience.
