Schedule : Night Shift-Compressed-6pm-6am
Pay Rate : $24 - $26 / hr. DOE
Location: Siler City, NC

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

• Technicians work on systems and maintain supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as Smart Phones, LEDs, and Flat Screen TVs
• Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including:
  • Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers
  • Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance
  • Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• AA or military equivalent preferred
• 2+ Year(s) of mechanical or electrical work OR 2 years of relative school courses or trades training

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in confined areas in a clean room environment
• May walk over five miles a day throughout the site and occasionally climb ladders
• A full gown and clean room procedures must be adhered to
• In some cases, technicians must put on Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator while working with chemicals (approximately 10-15 minutes).
• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds
• May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing
• Will require the use of Personal Protection Equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents, high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.
