Provides independent analysis and review of Physical Securities processes and systems as they relate to the SCFO.Physical Security Program Expertise: Provide expert level support for physical security activities such as: Employee identification badging operations and obligations, reviewing, and processing sensitive information and records, and manages and issues keys to sensitive spaces. Provides expert recommendations on physical security policies to improve effectiveness and safety. Liaisons with the Federal Protective Service (FPS) security guards in the regional office if needed. Resolves various issues with equipment maintenance and security protocols for the security desk in the SCFO. In addition, works directly with the Building Management security team, to assist with issuing building access badges and remedy security issues. Also, is a conduit with the General Services Administration (GSA), EPA, and the building management on a range of issues.50%Facilities Management/Health and Safety Support: Provide professional support for facilities office activities, such as urgent service calls and building service requests in the building management?s maintenance data base. Assists with the processing of requests for shipping/ receiving for critical EPA equipment and supplies. Independently resolves shipping and receiving issues/problems. Handles locker issuance and general troubleshooting of issues with lockers. Supports staff by conducting basic cubicle troubleshooting, such as sit/stand desk resets and other basic needs, i.e., various office needs. Supports general facility needs as assigned. Supports IT with basic troubleshooting directed by IT staff as needed.30%Property Management and Assisting the Office Director: Provides experts assistance to the Section Manager in evaluating and maintaining property inventory and accountability records and log reports. Independently resolves problems and elevates to management as needed. Utilizes the Fleet Commander System to support the fleet vehicle needs of the office, including reporting mileage and taking the vehicle in for maintenance, along with other assigned duties by the Office Director.20%Other:Annual Training, Training on Security Systems, Badging ?
