Description:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing various email marketing campaigns across a variety of web properties. This will include working with clients to collect email creatives, writing, compiling and scheduling daily content and promotional messages as well as tracking results of all email campaigns. Although familiarity with email marketing is preferred, it is not required. We will happily train the right candidate!

Responsibilities:

· Schedule and manage multiple email marketing campaigns each day across various email service providers and web properties.

· Analysis of email campaign performance and tracking of all results.

· Daily review, sorting/segmenting and processing of all new email leads.

· Write, curate and/or edit email content each day.

· Collect and review email content from our paid sponsors.

· Work with team to develop new marketing channels to grow email lists.

· Review and analyze competitors email marketing content and campaigns.

· Stay on top of industry trends and best practices.

· Share your ideas on how to grow our business!

Desired Skills:

· Demonstrated knowledge of digital trends and opportunities including but not limited to Basic HTML skills, WordPress, Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing, Social Media, Email Marketing, Google Analytics, Google AdWords and YouTube marketing.

· Above average Microsoft Office and Google Documents skills (specifically Excel and Sheets).

· Proficient use of major web browsers, email software and social media platforms.

· Simple photo editing skills using Adobe Photoshop or other similar software or online editor.

· Copywriting experience is preferred but not required. Preference will be given to candidates who can provide writing samples.

Education and/or Experience:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and Bachelor’s degree is desired but not required. Preference will be given to applicants with 1+ year experience in digital marketing, online advertising, copywriting or related internet marketing field.
