Job Description

Quatrro Business Support Services is seeking a Client Controller/CFO for their not-for-profit team. As the Controller/CFO, you will manage the full cycle accounting functions for multiple clients, develop and maintain client relationships, and set a clear vision and strategy that allows the client to achieve their financial goals and objectives. The Controller/CFO will also serve a key role in new client onboarding, resource planning, and project management. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities: 

• Serves as primary contact for multiple, large, complex accounts. 
• Delivers accurate and timely financial statements, providing coaching and counseling to stakeholders and operations managers to help improve margins and impact their bottom line.
• Lead budget process and incorporate periodic analytics. 
• Works closely with clients to solve issues related to complicated financial statement situations. Monitors finances to aid clients functioning within those guidelines and provides financial analysis and advice to clients.
• Provides best practices within Quatrro to help the client improve their business execution—coordinates with other internal Quatrro teams for consultative support on all financial services. 
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cross-functional teams aligned to a particular client delivery process.
• Addresses client concerns and issues to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner and dealt with according to client satisfaction. 
• Participate as requested by client in their Board or other executive-level meetings.
• Manage multiple direct reports, including mentoring, training, and development.

Qualifications:

Required :   

• 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or business with an accounting/finance focus (or equivalent knowledge/experience),
• Ability to manage priorities and functions, excellent interpersonal skills
• Advanced knowledge of industry-specific accounting software and advanced Excel skills  
• 10+ years of not-for-profit experience 
• 12+ years of Controller/CFO experience 
• Business acumen and ability to communicate with key stakeholders and C-level executives.

Preferred :   

• Master's Degree, CPA, previous people management experience.
• Experienced in creating processes and efficiencies to create an operational Center of Excellence.

Desirable :  

• Experience in a consulting or business process outsourcing (BPO) environment.
