The main function of a laboratory technician is to conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists and engineers in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of solid and liquid materials used in the institutional cleaning chemical market. The laboratory technician will be supporting multiple projects and project teams with a focus on machine ware washing chemicals, equipment, and ware performance testing.
Job Responsibilities: - Monitor product quality to ensure compliance to standards and specifications.
- Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses.
- Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids and liquids.
- Compile and interpret results of tests and analyses.
- Provide technical support and assistance to chemists and engineers.
- Prepare chemical solutions for products and processes following standardized formulas, or create experimental formulas.
- Maintain, clean, and sterilize laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Write technical reports or prepare graphs and charts to document experimental results.
- Order and inventory materials to maintain supplies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology or related

They will train and integrate consultants who perform well into other projects and also help them network within other groups of Ecolab for longer term opportunity.
Work Environment Location: This role is 100% onsite in Eagan. It is not open to remote workers.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Wear Wash RDE Group - Detergents, Sterilants, etc. (Full service restaurant applications typically)
- Technician: Some pH and titration, physical and product testing
- There is also a commercialization ware wash team that does stability testing on products to see how they perform.
