Job Title: Actuarial Analyst - Pricing

Location: Hybrid (2 days a week in Stamford, CT)

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain pricing models for commercial package lines of business.
• Collaborate with underwriting, product development, and data science teams to refine pricing strategies.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to support pricing decisions and identify trends.
• Prepare and present actuarial reports and findings to stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new insurance products.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in actuarial work, preferably in commercial lines.
• Successful completion of at least 2 actuarial exams.
• Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with commercial package lines of business
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
